Rahul Mahajan exchanged wedding vows with Kolkata-based model Dimpy Ganguly on Imagine TV’s reality show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega. Rahul presented a heart shaped solitaire ring to Dimpy before solemnising their love and taking their wedding vows. Rahul reiterated his promise of ‘Swayamvar nahi Shaadi’ by taking the Saat Pheras with his bride in the presence of their family and friends at a ceremony at Hotel Leela Kempinski in Mumbai.
The overjoyed Rahul said, “I am very happy today. I have found the perfect woman to spend the rest of my life with and together we took our first step in this new phase of our lives in the presence of the people we love and respect the most.”
“I feel on the top of the world. Today I am the luckiest and the happiest girl in this world. We seek everyone’s blessings to lead a happy and successful married life,” said the bride Dimpy.

Madhur Bhandarkar recently approached Kareena Kapoor for a role in his next flick. Says a source close to Kareena, “Madhur is planning to direct a hard-sitting social film for which he wants Kareena. He loved her in Chameli.” Adds the source, “Kareena has been offered Madhur’s film. It’s a fantastic, heroine-oriented script and she is meeting him today for a narration. Bebo is very excited to be working with him. They have both been keen on working together for a long time. Madhur had approached her for Page 3 (Konkana’s role) and for Fashion (Priyanka’s role) but her dates didn’t work out.

Rokkk film, releasing on March 5, stars Taanushree Dutta and Udita Goswami as two sisters who fight to free themselves from the curse of a haunted house.The producers of horror film Rokkk have claimed that they will keep ambulances posted outside theatres where the horror film will be screened.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has already promised Rs 500,000 to anyone who fails to get scared of his upcoming horror flick Phoonk 2. But the makers of Rokkk are confident that their film will be the ultimate scare treat to the audience.

“We had held a screening of the film and some people with heart problems
fell ill. We are advising people not to watch it alone, as heart rate and blood pressure might increase. So we are planning to have ambulances outside the movie halls,” producer Krishan Chaudhary told PTI.

Shahid Kapoor starrer Paathshaala, a film portraying the effect of the education system on children will hit theatres on April 16.

The film, directed by Milind Ukey and produced by Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan and his wife Shaira, also stars actress Ayesha Takia and Nana Patekar.

Shahid, who was last seen in Chance Pe Dance, will play the character of an English and music teacher in the movie.
